This event is free and open to the public. Pupus will be served.
There will be a raffle at the end of the meeting. Each attendee will receive one free ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each.
6:00 PM. – A variety of landscape books will be available for sale
The Maui Invasive Species Committee (MISC) is always busy working throughout Maui County to help control and eradicate invasive plant and animal populations. Come with any questions about any invasive species on Maui. Abe will also be giving a quick update on little fire ants and coqui frogs.
Ever wonder what Smart Controllers are and what ET is? Ever wonder how they work and how you can use these tools to conserve water? Ever wonder, how and what to choose? This talk is designed to equip the listener with the knowledge to make educated decisions and implement effective water conserving practices. Martin Miyashiro is currently the sales representative for Hunter Industries for Hawaii. He has worked in the Hawaii landscape industry for many years, teaching many classes including irrigation troubleshooting and installation.
