Additional Projects: Planting Ti leaves along an Arboretum trail and Weeding a newly planted area. There is also a problem of young Guinea Grass seedlings on South Hill that best be dug out with picks rather than repeat spraying.
Tools needed would be picks/shovel as a planting tool and a couple additional iron rakes to finish area for mowing. Some buckets …to collect stray rock & distribute fertilizer. Best tools have owners name or mark. Cloth gloves are supplied.
Campers will have available Arboretum facility with covered picnic table area, bathroom and a semi-kitchen [a 2 burner propane stove & sink.] Available also at the Arboretum throughout the weekend will be drinking water and an ice chest with soft drinks.
Other supplies campers may need: Extra pair dry clothes in case we get rained on, A flashlight and/or battery lantern, Warm jacket for Saturday evening, Ice chest for their Saturday lunch and breakfast, kitchen utensils for any food prep. Beer will be provided Saturday evening…BYO wine if you prefer.
Is there anyone who wants to stay over but does not have a tent? Please let Martha know via email so she can make arrangements –email@example.com.
