A Pesticide Education Program
There will be pesticide education classes intended to supplement the knowledge of certified applicators. However, all persons interested may attend. Certified Private Applicators in branches 1, 2, 3 and Commercial categories 1a, 1b, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 8, 9, 10,11.will receive two (2) recertification credits for each session from the Hawaii Department of Agriculture.**

I will address the importance of pesticide drift management in spray applications. Emphasis will be put on droplet size control using the various means available, the use of inexpensive computer models to predict drift, and the creation of meaningful barriers such as windbreaks, buffer zones, and living mulches
Class will be taught by Gerald Kinro, formerly of the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture’s Pesticides Branch. Cost is $50.00 per session ($75.00 after July 11). To register, please download, print and fill out the registration form and mail with payment to:
