Maui Agricultural Festival

This Sat., April 2 is the Maui Agricultural Festival.

It will be held at the Tropical Plantation in Waikapu from 9-4. Most of our group of regular volunteers are working in other booths that day (UHMC, CTHAR, etc.) so we really need a few new players to step up to the plate and help the organization that helps you.

Friday April 1st 12:00 to 5, we need help transporting furniture and plants from Gary’s house to the event and doing preliminary setup.

Sat. at 7:30 am we need help setting up.

Sat. 9-4 we can use a couple of people to join Gary, Olin and Elizabeth in meeting the public and answering their landscape questions. (Any portion of the day would be helpful.)

Sat. 4:00, Transport stuff back to Gary’s and enjoy a drink and pupu.

This is a great way to get to know others in MALP and it’s enjoyable helping the public. You’re welcome to bring your business cards as some of the people stopping by may be interested in your services. If you’re not able to help, we do encourage you to attend the event and see what you may find useful.

Please contact Gary at 298 8413 if you are able to assist with any time.
