DO YOU LOVE DOGS?
DO YOU WISH YOUR DOG HAD A PLACE TO RUN & PLAY?
Maui Association of Landscape Professional (MALP) members are joining The Friends of the Upcountry Dog Park Maui to help make this long awaited dream come true for both dogs and their owners. This is a 7 ACRE portion of land that has been put aside for the dog park but it needs a lot of work! MALP members expertise will be used for pruning & trimming to clean up this property.
MALP members are asked to please donate your time for this weekend event. It not only will be helping fellow MALP members (who are already tirelessly volunteering on this project), but it will also give you an opportunity to network with a lot of members of the public & show them your skills!
What to bring:
- Chain Saws
- Pruner & loppers
- Eye Protection
- Pole Saws
- Hand saws
- Closed Toe Shoes
- Bring your own water or other drinks. Some snacks will be provided.
No Dogs Please! -At least not yet!
Visit http://www.upcountrydogpark.com for more details on the park.
The park is slated to open in August of 2013.
